It’s a few days into the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Along the barrel racing, bucking broncs and lassoing, another element of the rodeo is the Cowboy Channel’s Cowboy Christmas event.
For 10 days, Cowboy Christmas fills the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Imagine, each corridor of the convention center is filled with booths. Each booth (varying in size) sells a plethora of items that fill up any cowgirl’s or cowboy’s heart.
Anything from the top quality lassos, customized hats, riding gear, leather goods, equestrian items, industrial farming equipment and so much more can be found at Cowboy Christmas. It’s truly an event that showcases fashion and fuses it with cowboy tradition and Western history.
When you’re walking around the convention center, you’re constantly greeted with flashy or inconspicuous goods that are bound to drain your wallet — in the best way, of course.
You see families — and many husbands — carrying bags of goods. There are constant performances, autograph signings and special guest appearances from shows like “Yellowstone,” and NFR Hall of Fame athletes.
107.9 Rodeo Radio spends 10 days at Cowboy Christmas, and we broadcast live from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. until the end of NFR and Cowboy Christmas. We also have the Wrangler stage where we have a lineup of country artists throughout the week.

Cowboy Christmas has a rich history in Las Vegas. It’s the premier destination for Western gifts and Cowboy goods.
This is the official gift shop for the NFR, according to the website. This has been a tradition in Las Vegas since 1986, and it has hurt the wallets of many husbands (kidding!). It’s truly a one-of-a-kind experience and its the perfect mix of Nashville fashion, Las Vegas flair and rodeo love.
