We are excited to invite you to Richard Harris Law Firm’s fourth annual wheelchair distribution event.
About the Event:
Accessibility is a right, and Richard Harris Law Firm has teamed up with the Nevada Wheelchair Foundation to host this free event. This event is aimed to provide free wheelchairs to children, women and men, who need a wheelchair but can’t afford one.
The event will take place on Friday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a special food truck event being held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be at 830 S. 4th St., Las Vegas, NV 89101.
How to Get a Wheelchair
To receive a wheelchair, you must call 702-900-3362 or email Ivy@Nevadawheelchairfoundation.org to qualify, reserve a chair and set an appointment time. According to the press release, “Please leave a message with your name, phone number and best time to call. We have Spanish-speaking volunteers who are also available to translate and take requests. Recipients must be present, if possible, to properly size chairs. Chairs come in 3 sizes and are able to accommodate 50 lbs to 275 lbs. For more information please visit www.NevadaWheelchairFoundation.org. “
Law & Order – Special Food Truck Unit
Along with the wheelchair distribution event, Richard Harris Law Firm is also hosting a food truck event. The parking lot at Richard Harris Law Firm will be filled with top food trucks and tasty vendors from In-N-Out, World’s Best Corn Dogs and Fat Daddy’s Ice Cream. The firm welcomes clients and friends to spend a day grubbing on some great food and chatting with the lawyers at Richard Harris.
“Any time our firm is able to help and engage with people in our community is a time for celebration,” said Richard Harris, Founder of the Richard Harris Law Firm. “I’m thrilled to be a part of a law firm that prioritizes helping those in need, and it is a distinct pleasure to partner with the Nevada Wheelchair Foundation again. We understand the importance of being an active member of the community, and gathering to provide wheelchairs to those who cannot afford them while enjoying local food trucks is a spectacular way to celebrate and give back to the Las Vegas and Reno communities.”
