Yesterday, we held XTU’s Virtual Celebration Luncheon where we celebrate and honor the brave warriors who have had to deal with breast cancer. We heard from Dr. Abou Hussein from MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, and our special guest country star Ashley McBryde performed a few songs for our guests.
That was not the only thing that happened. A guy named Jim nominated his girlfriend Karen who dealt with breast cancer… During the Luncheon, Jim decided this was the time to propose to his long term sweetheart. She said yes!!
We got them on the phone this morning and talked about the proposal and their relationship!
