Teachers should be honored more than usual these days. With remote learning and all the protocols happening at schools, it is tough to just teach the kids.
Well, here is a story about a superhero teacher.
Jennifer Petersen teaches German at a California school. Like many other schools, this school is remote learning. She was finished with her lesson but was waiting for all of the students in her class to sign off. She noticed that 2 of her students did not immediately sign off like the students normally do.
She noticed that their faces went from concern to panic and then the students started yelling for help.
That’s because a stranger broke into the students house prompting Jennifer to call 911. The intruder ran out the back door and jumped over the fence. Jennifer stayed on the Zoom call with the students until police arrived.
Police tracked down the man and arrested him immediately.
