Cup o’ Joy – Man Donates Entire Baseball Card Collection to 9-Year-old Girl Who Lost Hers in Wildfire
9 year old Reese Osterberg and her family lost their home recently due to the California wildfires.
Reese is a huge baseball fan and her baseball card collection was also lost in the fire. She had been collecting baseball cards since she was 6 and she had over 100 cards.
When her local fire company crew heard about Reese’s card collection, they decided to post on social media asking for people to donate any baseball cards they had.
One man named Kevin Ashford say the Social media post and recently was quoted “I got to thinking about what I had in the garage… I thought, you know, what of instead of selling them on eBay, I’m going to donate them. I’m gonna donate them all and put a smile on a little girl’s face.”
He had been collecting cards for 20 something years so his collection was over 25,000 cards!
