This pandemic has put a damper on a number of people especially residents in nursing homes who are not allowed visitors.
That did not stop a woman named Nina Ambrose. Her father was put into a nursing home because he was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease in January. 2 months later, the lockdown meant she could not visit her dad, Roger.
She was then furloughed from her job so she applied to volunteer as an activities and events coordinator at her dad’s new place of living.
Since April, she has been doing around three shifts a week at the nursing home, and after each one she gets to visit her dad.
So sweet!
