Thomas Rhett’s brand new single, “After All the Bars Are Closed,” is the follow-up to his number one song, “Beautiful As You.” Both songs are on his latest album, About A Woman, and Thomas says rare nights on his farm inspired the song.

He told us in a recent interview, "'After All the Bars Are Closed' is this like moody, vibey song, basically talkin’ about how, hey, even when the town shuts down, even when our friends go home, the night is yet to be over."

He added, "I think I envisioned going out to my farm after, no pun intended, but after all the bars are closed and just like gazing at the stars and kind of waitin’ on the sun to come up. Those nights in my life happen maybe like twice a year now, but when they do they’re very memorable.”

Rhett recently posted a funny and heartfelt video on his Instagram this week of himself getting a tattoo on his face under his left eye of his wife Lauren's name. Although the tat gives vibes of Jelly Roll and Post Malone, it is not real but temporary.

The video clip is of him sitting in a chair at a tattoo shop, getting the work done as he sings his song "After All The Bars Are Closed." He captioned the video, "They said we needed content…"

Many of his fans commented on the fun post, including one who said, "How Post started…" Another fan explained after so many freaked out about the tattoo on his face, "Guys if that was real he would not be moving his mouth and singing while it was being done." One more fan wrote, "Don’t mess up that handsome face!"
