Five Last Minute Gifts That Are Way Better Than A Gift Card

Last minute shoppers, listen up. That means you, gentlemen. How about some cool, and heartfelt last minute gifts?

Men are traditionally last minute shoppers. Oh, it's not sexist, it's true. They wait until the 23rd or 24th to get out there, and get that "special" gift. Own it, guys, and be proud! Proud, but not surprised when there's not much left out there to choose from.

I'm here to help all of you last minute, hustle bustle shoppers. How about a few last-minute Christmas gift ideas that AREN'T gift cards, or another candle, or mug. You already know you're the best "insert title here." An experience, or something personal, will go a long way.

As of this writing, it is December 20th, which means you've got less than FIVE DAYS to pick up any last-minute gifts. I know - gift cards are always a reliable standby, but there are other gifts that are just as easy, but even more meaningful.

1.  A digital product. Like an online course, a streaming subscription, or even a video game.

2. An "experience." Concert tickets (AC/DC coming to Las Vegas!), tickets to a game, movies, a vacation, or any other future event. Then give the person a printout of the tickets in a card. I've received tickets for a future show, and it's a great surprise, and something to look forward to down the road!

3.  Cryptocurrency. If this is their thing, Bitcoin is hot right now, and new memecoins are always coming out. 

4.  A homemade coupon. Like taking them to their favorite restaurant, or bar and getting the first round. Or. cooking them dinner from scratch. A bit old-fashioned, you say? Sure - until you get that great dinner and martini.

5.  Photos of you together. If you've got some great photos together on your phone, print them out and put them in a cool frame for them.

So, hopefully this brings a smile to the person's face that you waited till the last minute to buy for. Last minute gifts that actually mean something!

What makes Muppet Christmas movies stand out is they’ll cast Michael Caine as Scrooge and surround him with singing rats! Or they’ll make Kermit question his existence while Miss Piggy hilariously spirals. Don't we all? And then there’s the catchy tunes that you’ll hum all season long, even if you don’t want to admit it. You love it.

Whether it’s a cozy jug-band in a small town or Gonzo pretending he’s Charles Dickens, every Muppet Christmas movie has something special. Sure they’re silly, but they always remind me that Christmas isn’t about perfection, it’s about showing up for the people (or Muppets) you love.

This is the Christmas classic. Gonzo as Charles Dickens? Genius. Michael Caine giving Oscar level acting surrounded by singing frogs and rats? Unmatched.

It’s like the Muppet version of a potluck. You’ve got Muppets, Sesame Street, and Fraggle Rock in one big holiday mashup. And yes, Miss Piggy arrives dramatically late, because she’s a star.

A heartfelt road trip to deliver lost letters to Santa. It’s sweet, it’s silly, and Pepe the Prawn steals the show with his one-liners. This one is special.

The Muppets go full It’s a Wonderful Life here, with Kermit wondering what life would be like if he’d never existed. Spoiler: Miss Piggy becomes a washed-up reality star. Iconic.
