Miranda Lambert
Miranda Lambert's album "Postcards From Texas" is coming out September 13 and we can't wait for her new music! To give fans a glimpse of what to expect, she did a last minute pop-up show in Austin, Texas Friday night. Stubb's BBQ announced the show on their marquee early Friday morning – and a line winding around the block soon formed ahead of the box office opening at noon
Jelly Roll
Jelly Roll has been teasing new music and a new album for the last few weeks. The album will be called "Beautifully Broken" - and will feature "I Am Not Okay" and "Liar,” the full version of "Get By" which has been used by ESPN in their College Gameday promos as well as the season 2 trailer for "Tulsa King."
And in true Jelly fashion, he announced that profits of the pre-sales will benefit organizations helping those who struggle with mental health issues and addiction. The album comes out October 11. He’s taking pre-orders now. You can place yours HERE.
Dolly Parton
And Dolly Parton is planning a family-centric album called "Dolly Parton & Family: Smoky Mountain DNA – Family, Faith & Fables" It’ll be 37-tracks of new music featuring Dolly and members of her family. Some tracks include the voices of family members who have passed, alongside today's generation. One of the tracks features Dolly's niece Heidi Parton. The album is due out in November.
Thomas Rhett
And this past weekend, Thomas Rhett’s new album About a Woman came out. There is a song on the album that pays tribute to another current country artist. - I find this interesting because TR grew up in the business. His dad Rhett Akins was a big star in the 90s and has continued to keep his voice heard through his song writing. TR grew up with huge country artists coming in and out of his house all the time.
