Here’s What You Need To Know About Rugby League Games In Las Vegas
If you missed the games earlier this year at Allegiant Stadium, don’t worry, you won’t have to wait too long to see some of this hard-hitting action. There are four games scheduled to be played on the turf at Allegiant Stadium on March 1, 2025. That’s according to an article by Jarah Wright on KTNV.com.
The first game starts at 1:30 p.m., and it features two of the best teams from England’s premiere rugby association. The most recent Super League champion Wigan Warriors will battle the Warrington Wolves.
The second game features teams from Australasia’s premiere rugby circuit. This game begins at 4 p.m. and features the Canberra Raiders taking on the New Zealand Warriors.
Then at 6 p.m., some of rugby’s best women players take the field for a test match. You’ll see the reigning Women’s Rugby League World Cup Champion Australian Jillaroos squad tackling the England Lionesses.
This thrilling day of rugby action wraps up with another battle between National Rugby League teams from Australasia. That league’s most recent championship crew, the Penrith Panthers, battling the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at 8:30 p.m.

I must admit, I’m a night owl. And very often, late at night, I find myself watching sports from “the land down under.” I’m talking about Australian Rules football or the National Rugby League from Australasia. These really are fun sports to watch, with lots of hard-hitting action.
When it comes to rugby, I have a great deal of admiration for the toughness of these athletes. They’re basically wearing no padding at all. Yet, they’re hitting each other as hard as they can. This game isn’t for the faint of heart.
There is an excellent video which explains the rules and strategies of the game of rugby on the NRL website. It is narrated by Academy Award winning actor, Russell Crowe. It was created for the website to help promote the games from earlier this year, so don’t be confused by the date at the end of the video. The games in 2025 will be on March 1.
