Lainey Wilson attended her first movie premiere this week (7/11), and she was so excited about it that she posted photos from the Hollywood Twisters premiere on her Instagram.

Lainey posted several photos of herself posing in a black cowboy suit in her Los Angeles Hotel room, a video of her on the Twisters movie red carpet, and even a video clip of her getting her hair done for the premiere.

She captioned the post, "Checking another one of the bucket list y'all. First movie premiere for @twistersmovie. Excited to be here, have a song on the soundtrack, and see the magic happen. Gonna be a good night."

Many of her almost three million Instagram followers reacted to the post, including one who said, "You just hold on & go for the awesome ride!! You look beautiful." Another fan commented, "I love this! When this song just came out I listened to it like 10 on my bus ride! Ur, my favorite singer! Great job Lainey! Hope you are having fun!"

The country superstar has a song called "Out Of Oklahoma," which is on the Twisters movie soundtrack, out today (7/12).

Wilson graces the cover of Flaunt magazine this month, and the superstar talked to the publication about a number of things while on her phone driving around Nashville.

One thing Lainey addressed is the exact moment she knew she was on the edge of country music superstardom. That moment came in late 2023 after she won her first CMA Awards.

She was traveling from a date in Florida. Wilson recalled, "It just hit me like a ton of bricks of like, 'Man, do you realize what is really happening?' And it's a good feeling, a scary feeling, a lot of feelings that you wouldn't expect come along with it."

Lainey also said she has learned to "accept the gift" of her career skyrocketing. She noted that she doesn't "let the awards and accolades define who I am as a person or as an artist." She did say that she is "grateful for them" but has to "shift my energy to something else."

One thing that has been solid since her couple of years of fame is the people in her life who brought her down to earth. She said that she's not the only one "living in a whirlwind," but at when things are kind of "stormin' all around you," it's about coming back to that center and finding "peace."

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
