Who hasn’t been in the situation where a package was late and they had to get on the phone with a customer service rep trying to track it down?

But as much as we expect our online orders to make it to our houses, that's not always the outcome. Even more so in Nevada than other states, according to a recent report.
Nevada On Top 10 List Of States With Online Orders Getting Lost
Information collected recently by digital mailbox experts at ipostal1.com has suggested Nevada is on the nation's top ten list of states with the most number of lost packages. The way they gathered this data is by analyzing monthly Google searches in each state looking for terms related to lost online orders. More than 150 terms were considered, including 'USPS mail recovery’ and ‘FedEx lost mail.' The total number of searches was then compared to the population of each state.
What the experts came up with is a list of the total number of relevant searches per 100,000 citizens. And Nevada came in at number nine on the list. According to the study, we have 12,109 average monthly Google searches coming from our state about lost online orders. And whether the order was placed on the web or on an app, through Wal-Mart, Amazon or a smaller business, online orders not getting delivered has happened to many of us.

Is there anything better than seeing a package on your doorstep when you get home? But that anticipation of your online orders getting delivered comes to an abrupt stop when the package gets lost.
Shopping therapy is real for a lot of people. We get excited when a package shows up at the door. It's like Christmas when it happens. And when it doesn't, it's incredibly frustrating. And while Nevada is in the top ten on this list, we're not the worst state when it comes to getting our online orders lost. It happens more, per 100,000 residents in Maine, Washington, Wyoming, Vermont, Georgia, Florida, New York and Colorado, according to the study.
When it comes to the reason why our online orders are getting lost at all in the Silver State, the experts at ipostal1.com have some ideas. They suggest it might be because we have such a high rate of tourism and a fluctuating population. Or because of our large desert regions in the area. Whatever the reason, if you have to deal with any lost online orders in Nevada, just know you're not alone.

Prime Membership Perks You Probably Didn’t Know About
I’ve been an Amazon Prime member for a few years now. And I’m still learning about the benefits and perks. For $14.99 per month or $139 per year, members can get free shipping on all orders. Subscribers join for the benefit of fast and free delivery on millions of items.
You may even be familiar with some of its other such as access to Prime Day deals and Prime Video. But other perks come with the membership that fly under the radar. What are the other benefits of a Prime membership?
Perks I Enjoy
If you ever need a last-minute gift and you’re unable to get out of the house or maybe you forgot something, they have free two-day shipping on eligible items. Put this with your free delivery and you’re pretty much set. You get unlimited deliveries with no minimum order size, and with millions of eligible items, the options are practically limitless.
Additionally, Prime offers same-day delivery on eligible items. Just in case, you’re really in a pinch.
Shopping for holidays is less stressful when you know you have early access and lightning deals. Amazon offers limited-time “Lightning Deals” to shoppers every day, but Amazon Prime members can access them 30 minutes before everyone else.
You can take advantage of the extra 30 minutes by looking for upcoming deals and selecting the “Watch This Deal” option. If you do it in the Amazon App, you’ll get a push notification when the deal goes live, so you can snag the item before it’s available to non-Prime shoppers.
Streaming on Prime Video has been a game changer for me. I became a fan of shows like The Boys and Fallout through the platform. You can watch those, and a ton of other shows and movies, on your computer or the go with the Prime Video app, and download select titles to your iPhone, iPad, or Android device. My favorite thing to do is download movies or tv shows on the app before a flight and watch while I’m in the air.
There’s a bonus perk of members saving 20% on eligible subscription items. That includes things you find yourself ordering regularly, like probiotics or diapers.
Perks You Probably Didn't Know You Could Get with Your Amazon Prime Membership
While those are some of my personal favorites, more benefits often get missed by members. Take a look at some of the other benefits that come with an Amazon Prime membership below.
Grubhub+
Amazon is a great place to stock up on groceries and other essentials without having to leave the house. As a Prime member, you could also be saving some money the next time you want to order in for dinner. I didn't know that you can get a Grubhub+ subscription free for a year with your Amazon Prime membership. With this perk, delivery fees are waived on orders over $12, and service fees will be lower overall. If you're curious about how it works, take a look here.
Photo and Video Storage
Did you know that Prime members get photo and video storage as part of their membership? I found on by watching a video on social media. Amazon Prime members get unlimited full-resolution photo storage and five gigabytes of video storage with their subscription. This is a handy perk too. When using other storage platforms, you often run into the issue of having to pay for additional storage. I happen to take a lot of pictures so, this is a bonus.
Baby Registry Box
If you have expecting parents in your life, let them know about this one. Prime members can snag a baby registry box. Select members can get a free welcome box when they create a baby registry for more than 10 unique items and make $10 worth of purchases. Make sure to read the fine print. Shipping and tax don't count toward the amount, and neither do gift card purchases.
Cash Back
Prime membership already offers a direct way to save on your purchases by providing free shipping. The subscription also has free two-day shipping available on eligible items. But one perk that's often missed is cash back with a co-branded Visa credit card. The Prime Visa card is a fee-free card. Members earn 5 percent cash back on Amazon, Whole Foods, Amazon Grocery, and Chase Travel; 2 percent back on gas, restaurants, and commuting costs and 1 percent everywhere else. Cardholders can often get 6 percent cash back if they opt for slower shipping and 10 percent on select sale items. Some users will also receive an Amazon gift card worth up to $100 when they enroll.
Prime Gaming
Gaming anyone? Access to Prime Gaming is just another one of the perks that comes with your membership. Just by being a Prime member, you can get your hands on exclusive in-game loot and free monthly PC games. It also includes a free monthly Twitch subscription that you can use to support your favorite streamers. I'm not much of a gamer but now, I want to look into this a bit more.
