This Is What Mom Really Wants For Mother’s Day
There’s no need to panic about what mom really wants for Mother’s Day, because according to a new study, the answer might be easier than you could ever imagine!
The Countdown To Mother’s Day Is On
We’re just days away from celebrating all the moms across the country and so many people are still pondering what’s the perfect way to celebrate the incredible moms in their lives. Well, a new study conducted by the website Solitaire Bliss has given us some pretty insightful information about how the average mom would prefer to spend their special day.
Movies An Television Shows Reign Supreme
At the very top of the list, moms say they just want to unwind in front of their favorite screen in the house and catch up on movies and television! We get it, life gets hectic, especially when you throw kids in the equation; and the moms who were surveyed overwhelmingly said they’d like to just park their butts in front of the tv.
Following closely behind tv and movies are getting caught up on much-needed sleep and doing self-care rituals, like taking a bubble bath or getting a manicure or pedicure.
Here’s Some Great News If You Don’t Have Dinner Reservations Yet
What I found really interesting is that the study also reveals the activities that moms don’t enjoy doing on Mother’s Day. It might come as a surprise that the majority of moms who were surveyed said they don’t want to eat a Mother’s Day meal at a restaurant. In fact, most of the moms in the study said they’d prefer a simple and relaxed setting for their celebrations.
Funny enough, at the bottom of the list is shopping and spending time with the family! Listen, there’s no denying your mom loves you, but the bulk of moms in the study also love prioritizing themselves for the day!
Tread Carefully
Fellas, it’s important to note that all women are different. So please don’t use this post as an excuse to not try. There’s still time to make this the most memorable day for the mothers in your life, so speak to them and do what you can to give them what they deserve!
