Paws In The Park 2023: Furry Fiesta Takes Over Desert Breeze Park
Paws in the Park 2023 happened on Saturday, Nov. 3, and it transformed Desert Breeze Park into a haven of animal love, appreciation and adoption.
Rescues such as the NSPCA, A Home for Spot, Nevada Humane Society, Retired To Rescue, A Path 4 Paws, Pawtastic Friends, Kiss My Paws, Never Forgotten Animal Society Tails, Vegas Roots Rescue and other amazing specialty rescues. Many people adopted animals or signed up to start fostering animals, which is the main goal of this event.
It was a beautiful day. Thank you to all of our amazing sponsors such as The702Firm; who had an amazing photo booth, Eric Roy Law Firm; whose Fun Zone was a blast, and Cameron Law - An Injury Firm; who handed out free Puppuccino throughout the event!
It was such a delight to see people enjoying themselves and snapping photos at the booth and participating in the fun zone -- which had an artist that would draw you and your pet into a caricature. It was equally as adorable to see the dogs enjoying the puppuccinos -- which are just cups of whipped cream - to cool them off during this hot November day.
We had a few contests, and these brought out the cutest, funniest and most creative dogs out from the house.
We contested for "cutest, cuddliest pets," "owner look-a-like contest," "ugliest/funniest pet," and "pet costume contest."
Thank you to all of the wonderful pets and friends that participated in these contests!
It was a beautiful day as people prowled and grazed Desert Breeze Park into an area of fun and festivities for all of your furry, scaly and paw-refic pets.
People enjoyed the vendors. Some sold natural dog products, other sold pet-friendly bandanas, etc. Many were Las Vegas born-and-raised businesses, and it was amazing to meet our local entrepreneurs and business owners, many of whom are making products and services to help improve our pets' lives, wellness and more.
We also had Selena the Kumbia Queen -- a Selena tribute band, Weathers, and the Band Camino perform throughout the event. It was the perfect sprinkle of entertainment, excitement and energy.
We hope you enjoyed this year's Paws in the Park event at Desert Breeze Park.
