Chris Stapleton has been touring hard in the last few months, but he has come down with bronchitis and laryngitis and has had to postpone three shows in Texas and Louisianna. Chris posted the news on his Instagram.

He wrote, "To all my friends in Corpus Christi, Houston, and Lafayette, I am very sorry to let you know that I am unable to perform this weekend's shows. I have bronchitis and laryngitis and, on doctor's orders, been on vocal rest through the weekend in order to heal."

Stapleton added, "I am grateful for your patience and understanding, and hope to see you all in November."

Chris captioned the post, "All tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates.

Nov 16 - Lafayette, LA
Nov 17 - Houston, TX
Nov 18 - Corpus Christi, TX

For those who cannot attend, please contact your point of purchase within the next seven days."

Many fans reacted to the post with one saying, "Rest, recover and feel better!! You're worth the wait! We'll see you in November." Another fan wrote, "Get well soon, Chris!" One more fan commented, "Get well soon and take care, Chris!! That's the most important thing, buddy. Love."

Stapleton recently teamed with Filson, which produces luggage, bags, and accessories, and announced the "Traveller Collection," a five-piece ensemble designed and handcrafted, available on October 5, 2023.

Chris's connection to Filson can be traced back to his formative years with his father, who wore Filson gear while hunting. Ever since, Stapleton has donned Filson gear on the road and daily life.

Chris said in a statement, "It's been an incredible process developing the 'Traveller Collection' with Filson. Inspired by my needs on the road and the desire to revive archived Filson pieces, we've created products that I genuinely use and love. Filson feels like part of my family, and their commitment to lasting craftsmanship aligns perfectly with my values."

He added, "It's been an honor to collaborate with such a legendary brand that creates products meant to outlive us all."

The 16th ACM Honors were held at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium last night (8/23), and several country stars were awarded. Carly Pearce again hosted the ceremony, which honored Chris Stapelton, Tim McGraw, Kane Brown, Clint Black, and others for their contributions to country music. Other industry vets being honored were Charlie Cook, the late Charlie Daniels, Mike Dungan, Bill Mayne,  K.T. Oslin, and Troy Vollhoffer.

Before the show, Kerri Edwards, Chair of the ACM Special Awards Committee, said in a statement, "This year's ACM Special Award honorees have made a tremendous impact on the music we know and love, from icons and veteran executives who have shaped and steered the industry for years, to newer artists making a splash and welcoming fresh audiences into the community, and I am so excited about celebrating them in August at what is always one of the best nights of the year."

Carly said, "The Academy of Country Music has played such a crucial role in the rise of my career in the last several years, giving me opportunities to expand my artistry with hosting. To be able to come back as the host of the ACM Honors for the third year in a row, I feel so grateful and excited for what I know will be such a special night!"

For the event, honorees and presenters walked the small red carpet outside of the event in downtown Nashville. Many stars, Including Kane Brown, stopped to chat with and sign autographs for fans who waited outside of country music's "Mother Church" (Ryman Auditorium) to get a glimpse of their favorite stars.

The 16th Annual Academy Of Country Music Honors will air on FOX for a second year, airing Monday, September 18 at 8 PM ET.
