Luke Combs is playing Down Under through the month of August. Luke appreciates fans spending their money on tickets more than you would think. He spent a lot of his own money on concerts before he became a country star.

Combs told me in an interview not long ago, "I will never take for granted the people that spend their hard-earned money and see a show because I used to love going to concerts so much when I was growing up. And when I was in college, I was working two jobs and playing. And when anybody would come up to our college town, I would spend that ten or fifteen bucks, even if it was like I couldn't get whatever I wanted that week as far as groceries because of that concert."

He added, "So, I can understand what that sacrifice is like. And to me, it means so much because it helps me be able to record this music and have time to write it and get to go out see the world and meet these people that really are everything to what we do. Without the fans, none of this exists."

Combs' wife Nicole recently took some fan questions on her Insta Stories.

Nicole was asked how long the couple tried for each pregnancy, and she wrote, "Tex: About 1.5 years." As for the current baby she is expecting, she wrote, "Minus 7 months, LOL." She also addressed if the couple plans to have more babies after their second, due at the beginning of September. She said, "I'll let you know after this one (laughing emoji)."

One fan asked if shows would be canceled if she went into labor early while Luke was in Australia. Nicole wrote, "It's around 20 hours to get back from Australia if he got on a plane immediately, lol. So, no." She added, "I'm not due until after he gets back, so I'm trying really hard not to go into early labor. With Tex, I was doing everything in my power to get him out, and he was a day early."

Nicole was also asked what baby items she wished she didn't spend the money on for Tex. The toddler's mom replied, "I actually bought pee pee tee pees because I was led to believe I needed them. I also hear wipe warmers are a waste too."

Luke Combs is getting ready to release his latest album, Growing Old, later this month (3/24), and then he kicks off his world tour, which will play stadiums all over the world. That is not bad for a guy who studied criminal justice in college just over ten years ago.

As his country star continues to rise, Luke became a new dad in July of last year (2022) and has been busy helping out his wife Nicole take care of his son Tex. He also performed as a multiple nominee at the Grammy Awards show in February (2/5).

Combs celebrates his 33rd birthday today (3/2), and to honor him; we rank his 16 biggest and best songs.
