Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren Akins grace the cover of Southern Living magazine for the September 2023 issue. The cover story can be viewed here, and the issue will be available on newsstands on Friday, August 18.

Thomas and Lauren posed for the issue's photos at their family farm in Tennessee. The couple opened up to the magazine about their family's love of football, game day traditions, and experience as a house divided with Lauren rooting for the Tennessee Volunteers and Rhett's love of the Georgia Bulldogs.

Thomas reflected on the experience of shooting the cover, explaining, "It's no secret that our family is pretty much obsessed with football. Lauren and I had a lot of fun chatting with a magazine that appreciates the game as much as we do."

Lauren echoed his sentiments, saying, "Football was everything to my family growing up, and Thomas Rhett and I have enjoyed passing our love of football down to our daughters. Southern Living celebrates family, traditions, and, of course, college football, so to be able to sit down with them was super special."

Rhett recently announced the upcoming release of a retrospective vinyl collection celebrating his 20 No. One hits over ten years. Titled 20 Number Ones, the new vinyl will be out on September 29.

Thomas told us of the new release, "To have 20 No. Ones is beyond wild - honestly, more than I ever could have imagined. I'm grateful to have hit this milestone, but mostly it's just exciting to look back at this journey so far and see how these songs represent the different chapters of my life — and hopefully, the Home Team (his fan club) feels the same way."

He added, "I want to say thank you to everyone for letting me be a part of the special moments in life - it's hard to put into words what these past 10 years mean to me. Can't wait for another great 10!"

Country music stars like to have it all: big careers, adoring fans all over the world, and a family they can call their own. Many country music superstars are also proud dads who like to incorporate their family life into their country music lives.

Many country star dads take their kids on the road to tour during the summer, and some country music dads even put their children in music videos and bring them on stage now and then at concerts.

As we celebrate dads this weekend, we would also like to celebrate some of country music's top dads this Father's Day.

Luke is one of country music's newest dads, as his son Tex was born last year on Father's Day. Combs and his wife Nicole are currently expecting their second son in September. The couple admits they are having trouble finding the right name for their unborn baby. Nicole says she loves one-syllable names but has yet to land on one that is perfect.

Tim McGraw - 3 grown daughters Gracie, Audrey, and Maggie

Tim and Faith Hill's three daughters are all grown up, and two of them are living in New York City, where they are both pursuing careers in acting and music, just like mom and dad. McGraw brags about his daughters' achievements and celebrates them often on his social media.

Tyler Hubbard - 1 daughter Liv, and two toddler sons, Atlas and Luca

Tyler spends a lot of time with his cute and young kids in tow. When we asked him just this week about Father's Day this year, he told us he plans to bring all three kids out on the road this weekend to celebrate the day.

Luke Bryan - 2 sons, Bo and Tate, Nephew Til

Luke often takes his sons and his nephew Till with him on fishing trips. After his nephew Til's parents both passed away, Bryan and his wife Caroline took him in, as well as his two older sisters, expanding their family and including them in everything they do.

Thomas Rhett - 4 young daughters, Willa Gray, Ada James, Lennon, and Lillie

Thomas' oldest daughter Willa Gray is now school age, but her three little sisters are all under the age of six. Rhett and his wife Lauren share daily adventures with the girls, most recently taking the whole family to see Disney's "The Little Mermaid" this summer before Dad got back on the road to continue his tour.
