Luke Bryan told ET Online before his fan club party during CMA Fest in Nashville last weekend that with all that's going on in his career these days with touring, American Idol, and playing a Las Vegas Residency, he hasn't been too good at balance this year.

He said, "I'm not really balancing it that well this year, but you know my wife, I'm like, 'Baby, this is a rough year. Let's just get through it, and then we'll find a boat and go to the Caribbean or something."

In the same interview, Bryan said he plans to be "real active" in his career next year. He said, "I love to get out there and work," but he says he will slow things down a bit.

When he gets some time off this year, he likes to spend it with his sons Bo and Tate, fishing and hitting baseballs. He said, "They're playing travel baseball. You just try to make your time with them at home really, really count."

In 2021, Bryan told People magazine that his sons had become his buddies. He noted, "As they grow older, it's easier to let them tag along. They become little men, and they become functional little microcosms of me. Their personalities are really different."

He added, "They become your buddies. I mean, they're still your kids, you still have to do the discipline, and you still have to teach them the right and wrongs of life, but they really morph into your buddies. I mean, it's like the sweet spot of being a dad right now, and you can let them tag along."

Luke Bryan and his wife, Caroline, have been married for sixteen years. And as they often share on their social media accounts, the couple and their extended family are always having fun. The family is in Mexico this week as Luke plays his annual "Crash My Playa" event.

At Christmas time, the couple is notorious for their "Panksmas" holiday fun they share with friends and fans. The couple also does their share of charity work, as they recently gave away Luke's truck to raise money for a cause close to their heart.

With two sons and three adult kids from Bryan's siblings who passed away in recent years at their home and Luke's mother, LeClaire, often visiting and having a ball, there is never a dull moment.

For fun, we look at country music premiere witty couple.
