As we get into the summer heat, Lainey Wilson reveals why she does not ever wear shorts. In a recent interview, Lainey said of her trademark bell bottoms, “I’ve been wearing them for ten years. Nobody has seen my ankles. One day I’ll wear cutoff bell bottoms.” She added, “You won’t see me in shorts. I don’t shave my legs enough to wear shorts.”
Wilson also touched on the Yellowstone TV series, revealing that she doesn’t know much about her future on the show. When asked if she would return to the final season, she noted, “We’ll see. Fingers crossed. I hope so. They are very secretive.”
Lainey was the big winner at the 2023 ACM winning for Female Artist, Album, Music Event, and Visual Media, both from “Wait In The Truck,” shared with Hardy. She said about the awards, “I’m gonna have to build me a shelf. I haven’t received them yet. They say it might be six months. They try to keep you humble. They don’t wanna give ’em to you that night.”
After the ACM Awards, She made her debut performance on American Idol. She said of the appearance, “I finally made it on American Idol. I tried out seven times. I took the long way around but finally made it on American Idol. I never made it through. I never made it past the first round. I also tried out for The Voice. I’m grateful my story ended the way that it did.”
