Taylor Swift and The 1975's frontman Matty Healy have broken up after a short time together. Per gossip website TMZ, a friend close to Swift confirmed that she is "single" again, although it's still unclear exactly why they have called it quits.

Following the news of Swift and longtime partner Joe Alwyn's split after six years together, Healy, 34, was seen at all three of the "Shake It Off" singer's Nashville concerts just last month. She and the English singer were since then spotted out and about on multiple occasions -- from New York City double dates with her friends to hitting up recording studios together. Matty was even spotted sneaking into Taylor's NYC townhouse. He even hung out with her father during her Eras Tour stop in Philadelphia.

Although they just started dating, the artists have known each other since 2014 when Swift went to one of his concerts. The couple hasn't been seen in public since May 25 when they were out on a dinner date. The gossip site speculates that the reason why the two broke up was because Matty has a history of kissing random people in the crowd. During a January concert, which Swift was present for, the "I Always Wanna Die" singer announced he was going to stop doing that. "I’m not kissing anybody in front of Taylor Swift. Have some respect. In front of the queen? It’s not happening," he said. However, during this weekend's concert in Denmark, he made out with a security guard.

During a performance last weekend, Healy seemingly brought up the Swift dating rumors. “Is it all a bit? Is it sincere? Will he ever address it? All of these questions and more will be ignored in the next hour,” Healy cheekily quipped. Swift also made vague comments about her relationship with Healy that implied things have never been better. “It's insane. I kind of just feel like telling you, that I don't know, that just...I've never been this happy in my life in all aspects of my life ever before,” she told the audience during a Boston stop. “And I just want to thank you for being a part of that. It's not just the tour, like, I don't know, my life finally feels like it makes sense.”
