Kenny Chesney was playing a concert in Greenville, South Carolina, this week when he brought his Mom, Karen Chandler, on stage for a song with fellow East Tennessee native Kelsea Ballerini.

Kenny posted a photo of the sweet moment on his Instagram and a few other pictures from the night. He captioned the images, "A moment with Mom last night in Greenville, South Carolina. Mom came on stage last night to sing with me and, Kelsea Ballerini. Such a special moment. Also, big thanks to Dabo Swinney and Lincoln Riley for coming to the show. 'Boys of Fall' felt good in your honor. #IGOBACKTOUR."

Fans loved the post, and many commented, including one who wrote, "Awesome show last night! Thank you for spending your evening with us and sharing your Mom! As always, Go Tigers!" Another fan said, "Beautiful man and his mother xx." One more fan commented, "Karen is a true gem."

Over the years, Chesney has brought his Mom along for many events, including various award shows, movie premieres, and of course, concerts.

Chesney caught his tourmate Kelsea Ballerini catching up on some sleep during a flight after a show in Little Rock on Kenny's private plane over the weekend. Chesney posted a photo of Ballerini sleeping in his seat sitting up, he and some of his band members were behind, and they snapped a picture.

He captioned the image on Instagram, "Another late night flight home on the #IGOBACKTOUR. Sorry, Kelsea! We love ya. And Little Rock, Arkansas, we love you too. Last night was so much fun."

Kelsea posted the post to her Insta stories, writing, "Tell me you're the little sister on the tour without telling me...hahaha."

Many fans reacted to Kenny's post on Instagram, including one who wrote, "Crazy shenanigans are the best." Another fan commented, "Kelsea, you needed a pillow!" One more fan said, "Thanks again, Kenny and Kelsea, for putting on such an awesome freaking show! Yall rocked Little Rock for sure!!"

Kenny Chesney is one country star who can fill a stadium in almost every U.S. city. Last week ( 3/23), he kicked off his "I Go Back Tour" with opener and fellow East Tennessee native Kelsea Ballerini.

Kenny commented on the tour on Instagram in part back when he announced it in November, "No Shoes Nation, I'm so excited to finally announce the #IGoBackTour 2023 with special guest Kelsea Ballerini. 'I Go Back' is a song about holding all those things that shaped you very close and keeping them alive any way you can. In 2023, I decided rather than just go repeat what we did on this summer's stadium tour; I wanted to take this band and these songs to a lot of the cities we played on our way up, call it the I Go Back Tour, and do just that."
