The Vegas Golden Knights are in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and it's super exciting to watch them in action. A Vegas Golden Knights win is always a good thing.

Speaking of exciting, Saturday's (April 22) game against the Winnipeg Jets was a nail-biter. The Knights blew a three-goal lead in the third period, which made me more than nervous. Then, Michael Amadio came in as the hero in double-overtime to help the Vegas Golden Knights pull off a dramatic victory over the Winnipeg Jets, 5-4. So, to whom are the Vegas Golden Knights dedicating the big win? The Golden Knights' Twitter account tweeted that Amadio is dedicating the huge victory to team pet "Goldie," the goldfish.

In the playoffs, many teams have added a puppy as their team pet, but that's so trite. Instead, the Golden Knights recently debuted "Goldie." They're hoping that the team's new friend will bring them good luck in the Stanley Cup Playoff, and it appears "Goldie" is doing just that.

The Vegas Golden Knights debuted "Goldie" on April 14, as the post-season kicked in. "We’ve got a new friend joining us for the playoffs," the exclaimed. "Introducing Goldie, our first team pet!!!!" Go, Goldie! The Golden Knights' next game is Monday (April 24), back in Winnipeg at 9:30 p.m. ET.
