Las Vegas is About to Get Extra Hot – Here’s When
It’s that time of year when the weather is a bit unpredictable, no matter where you’re living. Las Vegas weather has seen lots of sunshine this week, but we’ve also experienced some high winds. Looking at temperatures, Sin City saw its first 80-degree day since last October when we hit 84 on Easter Sunday.
Since that first 80-degree day, temperatures have gone up and down. However, going into this weekend, expect those temperatures to go way up.
On Sunday (April 23), according to Weather.com, Las Vegas is expected to hit 90. That’s hot for this time of year, but it’s pretty far off from the record high for April 23, which was 98, according to historical weather records. Still, the average high is around 81 for April 23, so we’re sitting at about 10 degrees warmer than the average. The lowest high was a chilly 58.
Leading up to Sunday, expect temperatures to be in the 70s Wednesday (April 19) and Thursday (April 20). They’ll climb into the 80s on Friday (April 21) and Saturday (April 23) before hitting that 90s degree mark. Temperatures will stay high going into next week and at least hover in the upper 80s. I love the hot weather, so I say, bring it on. For more information on local weather, visit Weather.com
