Lainey Wilson’s Ground Rule for First On-Screen Kiss
Lainey Wilson’s Ground Rule for First On-Screen Kiss Country singer Lainey Wilson made her acting debut in the fifth season of “Yellowstone” last December. She played the role of Abby and had her first on-screen kiss with Ian Bohen, who played Ryan. While Bohen has been in the acting game for decades, Wilson was new to the field. She wanted to make sure she felt comfortable, so she set one ground rule for their on-screen kiss.
Wilson told Bohen that there was to be “no tongue” involved. “Do not put your tongue in my mouth,” she made clear. Bohen respected her wishes, and everything went smoothly. But, according to Wilson, it was a far cry from a real-life kiss. The kiss was highly coordinated, and there were dozens of people around.
In a previous interview, Wilson also mentioned that kissing with cowboy hats on can be challenging. Although kissing on the screen may seem like a romantic experience, it is a far cry from the real thing. Nevertheless, Wilson received praise for her acting debut, and fans are eagerly awaiting what’s next for the country singer-turned-actress.
