This Scent Might Help Your Road Rage
This Scent Might Help Your Road Rage
Do you know anyone who has frequent road rage? Well, this study is for them!
According to a new study, the scent of peppermint can help reduce aggressive driving behaviors. The calming effects of the compounds found in peppermint oil can help alleviate stress, depression, and anxiety, making it an effective tool in reducing road rage.
However, it’s worth noting that the study used peppermint essential oil, so simply purchasing a peppermint-scented air freshener might not be enough. A higher quality air freshener created from the actual oil might be necessary to achieve the same results.
It’s also important to mention that the study only tested peppermint versus no peppermint, so it’s unclear whether other scents such as pine, strawberry, cotton candy, or piña colada would have similar effects.
If you’re struggling with aggressive driving behaviors, it might be worth giving peppermint oil a try. Not only is it a natural and non-invasive method, but it’s also a pleasant scent that can make your driving experience more enjoyable overall.
