Free Cone Day: Celebrating America’s Favorite Season
As the first day of spring arrives, many are excited to welcome the warmer temperatures that come with the season. According to a recent poll, spring is the most popular season, with 30% of respondents choosing it as their favorite. Fall and summer came in at a close second and third, with 29% and 28% of the votes respectively, while only 10% of people preferred winter.
However, where you live can also play a big role in your favorite season. Those living in northern states were less likely to choose spring as their top season. The states where spring was the most popular were South Carolina, Arizona, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.
To celebrate the arrival of spring, Dairy Queen is hosting “Free Cone Day” where customers can enjoy a free small vanilla soft-serve cone, with no purchase necessary. Ben & Jerry’s is also joining in on the fun with their first “Free Cone Day” in four years, which will take place on April 3rd.
So whether you love spring for the warm weather or for the free ice cream, there’s something to enjoy for everyone.
