Lee Brice Struggles with Death of Friend Kyle Jacobs

It was with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of Kyle Jacobs, the husband of country singer Kellie Pickler and a talented songwriter, who died by apparent suicide last Friday. Now, Kyle's longtime friend and collaborator Lee Brice has shared his grief on Instagram.

In a heartfelt post, Lee admitted to struggling with the news and feeling lost in his deep sadness over the past few days. Despite the pain, he also made a point to remember the good times he shared with Kyle, whom he described as "without a doubt, one of the best people anyone could ever hope to have in their corner."

Lee and Kyle were frequent collaborators, having written many songs together, including the hit track "Rumor". Kyle also produced several of Lee's other chart-topping hits, such as "I Drive Your Truck", "Hard to Love", and "Boy". Together, they even co-wrote one of Garth Brooks' biggest hits, "More Than a Memory".

Kyle's passing is a great loss to the country music community, and our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
