Kelsea Ballerini's 2022 album Subject To Change and Miranda Lambert's 2022 album Palomino are both on People's Best Albums of 2022 list. They rank alongside albums from Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Harry Styles.

People said of Kelsea's album, Subject To Change, which ranked at number eight after Styles, "Kelsea Ballerini sang of love, friendship and new chapters in life on a country-pop gem."

Ballerini posted a link to the People list on her Intsa stories among images of her at a friend's wedding and a cute video of her dog Dibbs. When she announced it in July, she said of her album, "This is a season of becoming, healing, loving, dancing and feeling, and like everything, it is subject to change."

Miranda's Palomino, which was also nominated for Album of the Year at this year's CMA Awards but lost out to Luke Combs, placed number five on the list. People wrote, "Miranda Lambert told stories —  fact as well as fiction — inspired by her travels." Palomino also got Lambert a 2023 Grammy Nomination for Best Country Album.

Miranda said of the album when she released it in April, "The making of this record has been one of the most fun and creative experiences of my career. Luke Dick, Natalie Hemby, and I went out to my farm in Tennessee in 2020 and started writing songs... We figured, while we have time, let's get out to the country and see what happens." She added, "The first one we wrote was 'Tourist,' and that set us on a path to create something with a bit of a theme. Since we couldn't travel at the time, we decided to go on a journey through songs... I hope y'all are ready to travel with us wandering spirits and meet some cool characters with great stories."

Kelsea Ballerini celebrates her 29th birthday today (9/12). While she is currently going through some challenging life changes (she recently filed for divorce from her husband of five years, Morgan Evans), she is also going through an exciting time in her career. She recently made headlines wearing Shania Twain's Grammy dress at the ACM Honors, where she paid tribute to Twain by singing her biggest song, "Man, I Feel Like A Woman."

Also, this month (9/23), she will be releasing a new album called 'Subject To Change' featuring her current hit single, "Heartfirst."

As we celebrate all things, Kelsea today, we look at 12 of her biggest songs that made her the budding country superstar she is today.
