Luke Combs and his wife Nicole recently took a trip to a tropical getaway. It was their first trip without their new baby boy Tex.

Nicole posted three photos of the happy couple. She captioned the black and white images, "Our first trip away from tex & we looked at photos of him the entire time lol."

Several fans and friends reacted to the post, including one who wrote, "I do that when I put my daughter to bed. I miss her immediately." Another fan quipped, "Hey! Nothing wrong with that! And when they're grown and gone, you'll talk about the dog like we do." One more fan commented, "Haha, love it. That's every date night for us too!"

Luke posted one of the photos on his Insta stories, writing over the photo, "Such a fun trip @nicolecombs."

Nicole also posted several images of the trip that appeared to be a birthday trip for one of her elder family members named Kappy, who was celebrating his 50th birthday with a family cruise, including a few video clips of her and some friends singing beach songs around a piano in a club called Gertrude's Beach Bar and Grill and frolicking on the beach and on a sailboat in the water during the day and at sunset.

Meanwhile, the couple returned home to Nashville and focused once again on their baby boy Tex as Nicole shared images of the couple decorating their Christmas tree on her Insta stories. You can see the couple placing an ornament on the tree in one picture. In another photo, you can see the white ornament with a red bow that reads: "You and me became three," with gold feet representing the couple and their baby boy.

Luke Combs is getting ready to release his latest album, Growing Old, later this month (3/24), and then he kicks off his world tour, which will play stadiums all over the world. That is not bad for a guy who studied criminal justice in college just over ten years ago.

As his country star continues to rise, Luke became a new dad in July of last year (2022) and has been busy helping out his wife Nicole take care of his son Tex. He also performed as a multiple nominee at the Grammy Awards show in February (2/5).

Combs celebrates his 33rd birthday today (3/2), and to honor him; we rank his 16 biggest and best songs.
