Chadwick Boseman’s Wife Simone Ledward Boseman Opens Up About ‘Most Challenging Two Years’ of Her Life
Simone Ledward Boseman recently gave her first interview since the death of her husband, Chadwick Boseman.
She sat down with Whoopi Goldberg in an interview that will play in part on Good Morning America and in full this Friday night on ABC.
Simone said about their love, I can’t believe that I was so lucky. I can’t believe that I got to love this person and I also got them to love me too.
When asked how they were able to keep his cancer diagnosis a secret she credits the Covid-19 lockdown.
It seemed like ‘is this a crazy coincidence?’ That we get to actually be inside, we get to be here with family, together and everybody in the world is also experiencing this togetherness in the midst of this awful scary, unpredictable time.
On how she is personally doing she said, some days I’m doing worse than I’m willing to acknowledge. Other days I’m doing better than I feel comfortable admitting.
