Miranda Lambert had a very special lunch date this week with her Paw Paw, her mother's father, and she posted on Instagram about the happy occasion.

Miranda posted a couple of photos of them, writing, "Selfie's with paw paw (heart emoji). He has the best stories and the best sense of humor. We were both laughing in pic 2 because he said, "who is taking the picture ?" I said me… it's a selfie (laughing emoji)."

She added, "He bought me my first pair of cowgirl boots and my first cowboy hat when I was 8. Guess he knew back then I was gonna be a country girl forever. Love you so much, Paw Paw Hughes(my mama's daddy). Best lunch date ever."

Several fans reacted to the post, including Miranda's friend and backup singer Gwen Sebastian, who wrote, "This is priceless." A fan commented, "I met your pawpaw for the first time at your 2017 concert in Dallas. My gosh, he was just so sweet. My Aunt Carla worked at the Walmart he always went to with your grandma. My aunt loved your Pawpaw dearly and talked about him A TON. Sadly; she passed away in June. I'll be thinking of her and your Pawpaw next time I visit the Pink Pistol."

One more fan wrote, "Awesome! I have lost both sets of my grandparents and miss them every day!"

Meanwhile, Lambert continues to discuss her Wanda June Home collection, available exclusively at Walmart.com, now offering an assortment of holiday items. She noted in a press release, "We're excited to expand the line with these new items. Some of my favorite family memories growing up were centered around the holidays and everyone coming together to celebrate. I hope that these items help fans make their own holiday memories this year!"

She added, "Wanda June Home is named after the two most influential women in my life, my mom Beverly June Lambert and my grandma Wanda Louise Coker, a.k.a. Nonny. They both taught me everything I know about being a woman and how to make a warm home full of laughter, love, and memories."

Miranda Lambert is one of country music’s most enduring stars. For over 15 years, she’s consistently knocked out hit singles on the country charts, starting with “Kerosene” in 2005 all the way up through this year’s “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home).” And she's got a lot of range: “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” – a dance-floor friendly duet with pop singer Elle King – came out within months of her acoustic trio album with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall. We listened to songs from that album (’The Marfa Tapes’), her albums with her *other* trio, the Pistol Annies, her collaborations with other artists, and – of course – her solo albums to come up with this list of her best songs ever, in honor of her 38th birthday.
