Miranda Lambert has wrapped her first run in Las Vegas for her "Velvet Rodeo" residency at Planet Hollywood. She shared a few images of her three favorite dogs on Insta stories while sitting on her private plane headed back to Nashville. She wrote over one picture of a few of her beloved small pups, "Bye Vegas, see ya in November!"

Miranda posted several shots from her final Vegas shows for this run, including one with her guitar players on stage, backstage at the pre-show band huddle, and one photo of her reaching out to a small fan in the crowd. She captioned the photo dump, "Tonight's the last show of Velvet Rodeo till November. It's a Rhinestone Saturday night! See y'all there."

Several fans reacted, including one fan whose post Miranda liked. The fan noted of the Vegas show, "Can't wait for Tonight! As I reflect on coming here for the show, the residency truly creates the opportunity to make it a more special and memorable ML concert experience. Don't get me wrong; I love a good tour show - especially Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars. However, this residency provided an opportunity for an old high-school bestie and me to reconnect and take a true break from the grind. #youcantmakenewoldfriends."

Before the show kicked off in September, Lambert described the show to Extra TV, calling it "A honky-tonk on steroids. That's what it feels like to me. But I know this is Vegas, and so you got to bring it, and so I feel like we just took everything."

She added, "I love this cowgirl, rock 'n' roll, honky-tonk vibe — and just blew it up. I think the wardrobe part was actually inspired by the Cowgirl Hall of Fame. I was inducted [into] the Cowgirl Hall of Fame back in October, and I had sent my stylist video of all the costumes and jumpsuits and outfits worn by some of the most famous cowgirls."

Miranda Lambert is one of country music’s most enduring stars. For over 15 years, she’s consistently knocked out hit singles on the country charts, starting with “Kerosene” in 2005 all the way up through this year’s “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home).” And she's got a lot of range: “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” – a dance-floor friendly duet with pop singer Elle King – came out within months of her acoustic trio album with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall. We listened to songs from that album (’The Marfa Tapes’), her albums with her *other* trio, the Pistol Annies, her collaborations with other artists, and – of course – her solo albums to come up with this list of her best songs ever, in honor of her 38th birthday.
