Maren Morris Believes Many Musicians Are Too 'Quiet' In Regards To Serious Issues

Maren Morris has been in the headlines lately for her disagreements with Jason Aldean's wife, Brittany Aldean. Morris recently discussed standing up for what she believes in and doesn't want to be labeled as the 'hall monitor' of country music.

Maren said, "I try to rise above — not even bad behavior, but just expected behavior that has become normalized that is bad."

She continued about what her husband said to her, "He's like, 'I hate that you always feel like you have to be the hall monitor of modern country music's behaviors in and around race and homophobia, transphobia.'"

She added, "I don't need to feel like I have to always be that person that speaks up. I think I come across a lot louder than I actually am because everyone else is so quiet."

Which issues do you speak out against the most? What issues are you the most vocal about?

Maren Morris’ Son Gets an Elephant Eye Full at the Zoo, Fans React

Maren Morris posted a cute picture of her son, Hayes, at the Kansas City Zoo looking at an elephant, and when she saw what her many fans saw and started reacting to it, it was a bit embarrassing. The elephant in the photo was, well, ready to mate.

Maren tweeted, "Look closer," after realizing what everyone saw in the photo.

And oh boy, did fans react.
