AJ McLean Shares How He Transformed His Body

Backstreet Boys' AJ McLean and I have something in common. We've both lost a lot of weight this year and we've both taken similar steps to get there. The singer is opening up and sharing how he made his impressive body transformation.
AJ is celebrating a year of sobriety, and says, “Drinking caused weight gain, but it also weighed down my mental state.”
He made the decision to make the change and he started small, first by eliminating alcohol and fast food.
Over the year he made a few more changes, including upping his protein intake. He said, “It’s a lot of protein — I’m taking in 140 grams, breakfast typically consists of egg whites and oatmeal or grain-free pancakes. Lunch is a big salad with grilled chicken and for dinner, a steak, or a burger in a lettuce bun with a side of asparagus.”
He added he also exercises an average of five days a week.
AJ has lost 32 pounds since February. I've lost 20 pounds since July.
