Miranda Lambert may be back at work, but she is still taking some time to have fun. She just spent a day of quality time with about a dozen girlfriends in Texas.

Miranda posted several pictures from the fun day, including one shopping with friends at the famous Buc-ee's truck stop. She captioned the images, "Take me back, Texas! We had the best girls weekend in Gruene, Texas. My favorite place on earth. Family, Friends, queso, margs, bucce's, lone star lights, wine, fried pickles, river floats, and pontoons. Sounds like heaven to me! Miss, y'all already."

One of the friends on the boat responded to the post with heart emojis. Fans also commented on the fun that was had, with one writing, "That looks so fun!!"

Lambert recently enjoyed a month-long vacation traveling in her airstream with her husband and some friends out West. She visited many states, including Utah, Montana, Arizona, and Wyoming. Before that, she spent a few weeks on the road, touring with Little Big Town. Little Big Town played first, followed by Lambert, and then both artists performed a set together.

Miranda is currently preparing for her first Las Vegas Residency dubbed Velvet Rodeo at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood. She plays at the theater on September 23, 24, 28, and 30. She also plays shows on the weekends in October, November, and December of 2022 and then comes back to Vegas to play weekends at the venue in March and April 2023.

Lambert recently said of the Las Vegas stint, "I'm a little scared, which I like because being nervous means I have such a passion for what I do. This weekend when I'm off, I'm writing out the setlist and getting a feel for where I think it should go."

Her husband Brendan said on the recent ACM Honors red carpet that he planned to watch every single one of his wife's Las Vegas shows.

Miranda Lambert is one of country music’s most enduring stars. For over 15 years, she’s consistently knocked out hit singles on the country charts, starting with “Kerosene” in 2005 all the way up through this year’s “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home).” And she's got a lot of range: “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” – a dance-floor friendly duet with pop singer Elle King – came out within months of her acoustic trio album with Jack Ingram and Jon Randall. We listened to songs from that album (’The Marfa Tapes’), her albums with her *other* trio, the Pistol Annies, her collaborations with other artists, and – of course – her solo albums to come up with this list of her best songs ever, in honor of her 38th birthday.
