Before a recent concert, Carly Pearce learned through her band that a young fan handed the musicians a CD full of songs she recorded. Some of those songs were Pearce's. Upon listening to it, the singer saw a bit of herself in the young fan.
She decided to invite the fan onstage, and she a clip of their performance. She wrote, "Y'all meet Paisley. She handed my band a CD she recorded of some original songs and also my songs. It took me back to when my mom first took me to a recording studio when I was about her age. She told me "What He Didn't Do" was her favorite song, so I had to invite her up…"
One fan reacted to the post, "This is why you are the best! A moment this little girl will always treasure!"
Carly Pearce celebrates her 30th birthday in quarantine today (4/24) during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Having just released her sophomore self-titled album on Valentine's Day (2/14/20), Carly, like most artists, has been itching to get back out on tour to play songs from her new project for fans.
