The Meadows School in Summerlin is shutting down for at least the rest of the week due to an "unspecified threat," Channel 13 Action News, KTNV-Las Vegas, reports.
According to school administrators, their summer program "Camp Mustang," will resume after the threat has been addressed. You can find the full Channel 13 Action News story by clicking here.
Around 3 p.m. Tuesday, Channel 13's report states that "Police gave an update saying that they are now investigating a threatening phone call."
The Meadows School summer camp staff are working with Las Vegas Metro Police Officers and school security to secure the campus for the rest of the day. Parents have been notified of this incident, and they are currently in the process of picking up their children.
