Wynonna Judd and her sister, actress Ashley Judd paid tribute to their mother, Naomi Judd, who passed away on Saturday (4/30), just one day before she and Wynonna were to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame yesterday (5/1) at the Hall of Fame ceremony.

Both women were visibly shaken when they spoke of their mother as Ashley said, "I'm sorry that she couldn't hang on until today."

Wynonna said in her speech, "I didn't prepare anything tonight because I knew mom would probably talk the most. I'm gonna make this fast because my heart's broken, and I feel so blessed. It's a very strange dynamic to be this broken and this blessed." Adding, "Though my heart's broken, I will continue to sing because that's what we do." She then recited a Bible verse, Psalm 23:1–6 - "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

Carly Pearce performed "Grandpa (Tell Me 'Bout The Good Ole Days)" at the ceremony, and Ricky Skaggs presented Wynonna with her medallion.
