Blake Shelton Plants Corn On His Farm Early, ‘I Don’t Give A Crap’
While so many music stars were at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards in Las Vegas yesterday (4/3), Blake Shelton was on his Oklahoma farm planting crops and riding on his tractors.
Blake says in the video clip wearing a camo button-down and a ball hat, “Okay, I think some of the old-timers out there would say, ‘What are you doing? It’s way too early.’ The rule of thumb in Oklahoma, this part of Oklahoma, is don’t plat anything until April 10, I think. I don’t give a crap (points to his tractor) got the old man there behind me, (points to another tractor) Got the new guy. Seeds going in the ground today, people.”
He added, “My dad sold Kubota tractors for quite a few years, right up until he passed away, actually. I bought this one from him in, and I think 2006 or 2007, and it’s still going. I put in some corn with it.”
The clip then flashes to Blake riding the tractor, and he says, “We’re doing it.”
