Thomas Rhett took to his Instagram to share a brand new song he wrote about parenting, and his girls can be heard in the background trying to get dad's attention while he sings, looking down at them often and smiling.

Thomas sang in part, "One needs a bottle, one needs a diaper, it's a full-time job, no nine to fiver. Running on coffee and fumes, tornado in the living room. Days are long go on and on before you know they're up and gone. Let it all sink in because these times are never coming back again. The days are long, but the years are short."

He captioned the video, "Thought a parent could use this today haha #yearsareshort."

His buddy Cole Swindell, who does not have kids, responded to the post writing, "Can’t even relate, and it’s still phenomenal! What an idea 💡 💪."
