Kane Brown Reveals How He Learned Of His First CMA Nomination

Kane Brown is a first-time CMA nominee this week as his collaboration with Chris Young, "Famous Friends," is up for "Single of the Year" on Wednesday night's (11/10) show.

Kane said after rehearsing his performance with Chris young this morning (11/9) for the show, "Someone texted me that I was nominated, yeah. I just found out. I have never been nominated for one so, it's awesome to be nominated especially to share it with my friend."

As for the show itself, Brown is looking forward to sharing some time with fellow country stars at the show. He said, "I'm just looking forward to it somewhat being normal again, getting to see some faces. I saw the table I'm sitting at with Jason Aldean and Freddie Freeman (Atlanta Braves), World Series champ."

The 55th Annual CMA Awards will air live on November 10, 2021, on ABC at 7 pm CST.
