Jeff & Aimee are tipping their hats to a young woman that decided to make an environmental change.

24-year-old Stefani Shamrowicz spent over a month of her vacation picking up trash across the country. Her effort started in her home state of Colorado then New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York.

“There’s litter everywhere, so I’m just happy to be able to make a little bit of an impact everywhere I go,” said Shamrowicz.

While posting her clean-up effort online, strangers started donating money so Shamrowicz can continue her journey.

Shamrowicz's love for nature comes from her frequent visits to national parks.

“I’ve been to 23 national parks in the U.S., so me cleaning up this litter is a huge thank you for all the joy and good times national parks and nature, in general, has brought to my life,” said Shamrowicz.

With Shamrowicz's job returning June 1st, she is now back home in Colorado working at her campus recreation center.
