Growing up I would always get frustrated when my mom would tell us that all she wanted for Mother's Day was for us to clean our room, let her relax or make a homemade card. I mean she had to have wanted more, right? NO!
I'm a mom of a teenager and a toddler and I now know that she ONLY wanted that, with her whole heart. This Mother's Day weekend (yes, I will celebrate the whole weekend) I just want to be with my family. Relaxing, hoping they don't irritate each other and making them go to the grocery store with me. It's truly the little things that make mom happy... of course wine makes mom happy too.
As a mom our mind is always going, so to not have to think about the dishes or dinner one day will be the best gift given.
Remember today and every day that life doesn't come with a manual but it does come with a mom.
