During the holiday season, we're reminded of what we're truly thankful for! Jeff & Aimee in the Morning is giving a hats off to Nevada Attorney General Aaron D. Ford.

Ford, his two sons and his Law Enforcement Community Liaison Investigators gave out 40 turkeys to local Vegas families.

"The Coronavirus Pandemic has severely impacted our state, and many of our fellow Nevadans will have a hard time gathering the items needed to celebrate this holiday," said AG Ford in a statement. "Here in the Attorney General’s Office, we are family, and that family extends to our brothers and sisters in need. In times of struggle, I couldn’t be prouder to lead an office that serves Nevadans during and beyond business hours.”

LECLI is a group of investigators whose sole mission is to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community.

Ford's office also raised nearly $1800 for a local charity Friends In Service Helping (F.I.SH). The funds will be used to provide meals and services to those in need during these difficult times.
