On the untimely event of his passing, one WWII veteran is going out in style.

94-year-old WWII veteran Suttie Economy got his final wished approved from Mars Wrigley to be buried in a 'Juicy Fruit' themed casket, according to CNN.

Economy is known within the Roanoke, Virginia, community for giving out packets of Juicy Fruit to everyone he meets.

The love for 'Juicy Fruit' gum comes from the war effort days. Wrigley's would take out Juicy Fruit, Spearmint and Doublemint off of civilian markets and would send them to troops overseas during WWII, according to Mars.

"It served as a symbol for his mission to talk to people about the World War II memorial and to honor the deceased veterans that died for our freedom," said John Economy, Suttie's brother.

Initially, Economy's request was denied by Mars. However, after a social media campaign went viral, Economy's wish was approved!

After receiving contact to Mars' president, the vice president called Economy to grant the wish, according to CNN.

Last week, 250 packs of Juicy Fruit gum were sent to Oakey's Funeral Service for the family. The packets of gum have since been picked up.

Economy suffers from a heart condition and was admitted to Salem Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Virginia. He has since been moved to Virginia Veterans Care Clinic where his health is improving.
