Community Banner Signing Offered For Metro Police Officer Shay Mikalonis

The Clark County Government Center is offering banners for the community to sign in support for Metro Police Officer Shay Mikalonis, according to its press release.

The banners are available until Thursday, June 25, in the Rotunda of the Clark County Government Center in downtown Las Vegas. Located on 500 S. Grand Central Parkway.

Officer Mikalonis was shot in the head during a protest on June 1st, according to The Reno Gazette-Journal. The injury left Mikalonis paralyzed from the waist down and unable to speak.

The 20-year-old suspect that deliberately shot Mikalonis was placed into custody on June 1st, according to The Reno Gazette-Journal.
