Marquette King, former NFL kicker, Tweeted out May 31st with a simple request of "to come clean the city with me. Officers should come too. Let’s get to know each other."
About 15-20 people came out to help sweep Downtown Phoenix with Marquette after it was impacted by riots.
After the cleanup Marquette Tweeted out "Today was a success. George Floyd was a believer in peace and love as well as myself and everyone that was out here today helping people in Phoenix. It’s ok to be different! I choose to make an impact in showing love and peace. Make a difference but be smart and calculated."
