Kids pick up on a lot of things they see but sometimes certain topics are a little complex for them to understand, including the ugliness of racism.
Kids TV show Sesame Street and CNN have teamed up to hold a town hall meeting discussing racism on Saturday, June 6th at 10 a.m. ET. The event will be streamed live on CNN, CNN International, CNN en Español and all CNN online platforms that won't require a log-in.
Elmo, Abby Cadabby and Rosita are getting together to break down the complex social issues of racism so that kids could understand.
Big Bird will join CNN commentator Van Jones and correspondent Erica Hill in moderating the event.
