‘A Salute To The Songwriters’ Hosted By Luke Bryan Will Feature Clint Daniels

Mark your calendar: this Saturday night at 7 pm ET, Luke Bryan is hosting a special a three-hour show that will air on our station: “BMI Presents: A Salute To The Songwriters – Benefiting The MusiCares COVID 19 Relief Fund.”

Clint Daniels, who has co-written Number One singles for Joe Nichols ("Brokenheartsville"), Montgomery Gentry ("Roll With Me") and most recently, Eric Church ("Some Of It"), will be participating. Clint has also written songs for George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Clay Walker, Easton Corbin and Jon Pardi.

Daniels was signed as a solo artist with Arista Nashville in 1998. There, he released four songs, two of which charted on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs.

Be sure to catch “A Salute to the Songwriters – Benefiting The MusiCares COVID 19 Relief Fund” hosted by Luke Bryan and featuring the songwriters behind some of country music’s biggest hits performing from their homes while telling stories about the creation of the songs.

Other songwriters joining them are Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson, Natalie Hemby, Dylan Altman, Jon Randall, Barry Dean, Luke Dick, Jeff Hyde, Brandon Kinney, Jessi Alexander and Wynn Varble.

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of. In the late 1990s, she started working with Dolly Parton. And yes, Nancy reports that Parton is as sweet as you would think. She loves her life in country music and has been backstage at every CMA Awards show since the late 1990s. Many of her stories are from her one-on-one interviews. She was there at the beginning of the incredible careers of many music superstars today, including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, and Blake Shelton, and has interviewed them multiple times throughout the years.
