With most transportation at a complete standstill because COVID-19, one woman in Massachusetts is using her own unique transportation.
Cathie Hatrick-Anderson, of Bobcat Farm in Massachusetts, was in need of going to the bank so she decided to jump on her horse and ride there.
“I called them when I was halfway there and I said, ‘I’m heading down now but it’s going to take me a while because I’m riding my horse.’ There was kind of silence on the phone,” said Cathie, in a CBS Boston interview.
When she arrived to the drive-thru bank window the employees of UniBank were absolutely happy to see Cathie and her horse Ruger!
Like a true cowgirl Cathie strolled up to the bank with a bandanna covering her face!
For all of his hard work Ruger earned himself a doughnut from Dunkin'! Of course, the two strolled up to Dunkin' horseback.
“You put your trust in an animal and you get the same thing in return. My horse trusts me to take him to places he’s never been or something he’s never seen before,” said Cathie, in a CBS Boston interview
“It’s an incredible bond you form with these animals and it brings a lot of joy not just to me but everyone around them."
